Start from the central area of Puerto Plata, such as Parque Independencia. Head southeast towards Calle 12 de Julio, and continue walking straight. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Av. 27 de Febrero. Turn left onto Av. 27 de Febrero and walk for approximately 15 minutes. You will pass various shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for the La Sirena supermarket on your right. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of Av. 27 de Febrero. From the roundabout, take the second exit onto Calle Juan Pablo Duarte. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Monte Llano Park on your right.
