If you're starting from the city center of Puerto Plata, head towards Av. Gregorio Luperón. Begin by walking north on Calle 12 de Julio. After a few blocks, you will reach the intersection with Av. Gregorio Luperón. Turn left onto Av. Gregorio Luperón, heading west. Continue walking straight for about 15-20 minutes. La Puntilla Park will be on your right, directly across from the beach.

From the city center, locate the nearest bus stop that services routes along Av. Gregorio Luperón. Board a 'guagua' (local bus) that is headed towards the beach areas. Notify the driver that you want to get off at La Puntilla Park. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you disembark, walk a short distance back towards the beach, and you will see La Puntilla Park on your left.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in the city center. Start by riding north on Calle 12 de Julio until you reach Av. Gregorio Luperón. Turn left onto Av. Gregorio Luperón and continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers. La Puntilla Park will be on your right-hand side as you approach the waterfront.
