  • Walking

    If you are in the Colonial Zone (Zona Colonial) of Santo Domingo, start at Parque Colón. Head southeast on Calle del Conde towards Calle Arzobispo Meriño. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida George Washington. Turn right onto Avenida George Washington and walk until you reach the intersection with Calle Manuel María Castillo. Turn left onto Calle Manuel María Castillo. After a short walk, you will find República Oriental del Uruguay Park on your left at C. Manuel María Castillo 20.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    From Parque Independencia, locate the nearest bus stop for the local buses (Carros Públicos). Take a bus heading towards Gazcue. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach Calle Manuel María Castillo. Once you get off, walk along Calle Manuel María Castillo for a few minutes, and you will arrive at República Oriental del Uruguay Park located at C. Manuel María Castillo 20.

  • Public Transportation - Metro

    If you are near the Metro station, take Line 1 (the Green Line) in the direction of Centro de los Héroes. Get off at the Juan Pablo Duarte station. Exit the station and walk towards Avenida José María Heredia. From there, you can either take a taxi or walk.
