From any point in Sierra de Bahoruco, head towards the main road leading to the border with Haiti. Follow the signs towards 'Anse-à-Pitres'. Once you reach the border, you will need to go through the customs process. Ensure you have your passport and any necessary documentation. After crossing into Haiti, continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach the coordinates 26RV+V36. The Marché de Noël Anse-à-Pitres will be on your right. Note: Be prepared for potential tolls at the border and check the latest travel advisories.

Public Transportation
From Sierra de Bahoruco, locate the nearest bus station where you can catch a bus heading towards Jimaní, which is the border town. The bus ride should take approximately 45 minutes. Upon arrival in Jimaní, you will need to disembark at the bus terminal. From there, you can find a shared taxi (known locally as a 'carro público') that goes directly to Anse-à-Pitres. The taxi ride will take around 30 minutes and costs around 200 DOP. Remember to have your passport ready for customs when crossing into Haiti.

If you are in close proximity to the border area, you can also consider walking. From your location in Sierra de Bahoruco, head towards the main road leading to Jimaní. Once you reach the border, go through customs on foot. After crossing into Haiti, you can either walk or find local transportation to Anse-à-Pitres, which is about 10 kilometers away. However, walking may not be advisable due to safety concerns, so always opt for a taxi if possible.
