    If you're driving, start from the town of Neiba. Head southeast on Carretera Neiba-Santo Domingo (also known as Route 1) until you reach the intersection with Route 44. Turn left onto Route 44 and continue for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the entrance to Sierra de Bahoruco National Park. Follow the signs for Mina de Larimar, which is located about 15 minutes inside the park. Make sure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain, as the last stretch is unpaved.

    If you prefer public transportation, take a guagua (shared taxi) from Neiba to the town of La Descubierta. From La Descubierta, you can catch another guagua that goes towards Sierra de Bahoruco. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Mina de Larimar. This trip may take around 45 minutes to 1 hour, and expect to pay around 100-150 DOP for the guagua fare. Note that the frequency of guaguas may vary, so it’s advisable to check the schedule in advance.
