If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the city of Quito. Take the Pan-American Highway (E28) south towards Ambato. Continue on the highway for approximately 140 kilometers (about 2 hours) until you reach the town of Baños. From Baños, follow the signs to Ruta del Agua (Water Route) which will lead you towards Condor Machay. The final stretch will involve a short drive on a dirt road leading to the entrance of Condor Machay Cascadas. Be prepared for possible rough terrain. There is no parking fee, but you should check local conditions before your visit.

Public Transportation
To reach Condor Machay Cascadas using public transport, start from Quito by taking a bus to Baños. Buses leave frequently from the Quitumbe bus terminal, and the journey takes about 3-4 hours (cost approximately $3-5). Once in Baños, you can either take a taxi (around $10) or look for local tours that will take you to Condor Machay. Some tours may include transportation to and from the cascades, as well as a guide for the area.

If you prefer an adventurous route, after reaching Baños, you can hike to Condor Machay Cascadas. From Baños, take the trail that leads to the waterfalls.
