If you are driving from Quito, take the Panamerican Highway (E28) south. Continue on the highway for about 50 km until you reach the town of Sangolquí. Once in Sangolquí, follow the signs to Ruta Alpachaca. The hosteria is located at Rumipamba Del Condor, Ruta Alpachaca. Look for the entrance marked with the Balcon Al Cotopaxi sign. The entire journey takes approximately 1.5 hours depending on traffic.
