Getting There

Bus
From the city center of Loja, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal Terrestre de Loja. You can take a local bus or a taxi to get there. Once at the terminal, look for buses heading to Vilcabamba. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival in Vilcabamba, ask the driver to drop you off at the main square (Plaza Central de Vilcabamba).

Walking
From the main square in Vilcabamba, start walking towards the north along the main road (Via Quebrada Sunungo). You will follow this road for about 2 kilometers. There are signs along the way indicating the direction to Rumi Wilco Nature Reserve. After walking, you will reach the entrance of the reserve, which is located on the left side of the road.

Taxi
If you prefer not to walk, you can hire a taxi from the main square in Vilcabamba. The taxi ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes to reach Rumi Wilco Nature Reserve. Just inform the driver of your destination, and they will take you directly to the entrance.
