Getting There

    If you are traveling by car, head to the town of Tena, which is the nearest major town. From the center of Tena, take the Via a Napo road heading southeast. After about 10 km, look for signs indicating amaZOOnico. The entrance is located on the left side of the road, and there is a parking area available. Please be aware that the road may have some potholes, so drive carefully.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Tena, you can take a local bus heading towards Misahualli. Buses frequently depart from the main bus terminal in Tena. The fare is typically around $1.50. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at amaZOOnico, and they will drop you off at the nearest stop. After getting off, you may need to walk a short distance (about 500 meters) to reach the entrance of amaZOOnico.

  • Taxi
