Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at Luxor Temple, located in the city center. From the temple, head south on the Corniche road, enjoying the views of the Nile on your left. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the main road leading to the Valley of the Kings. Turn right onto this road. Walk along this road for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass through some local shops and cafes. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will see a sign for El-Khokha on your left. The necropolis is located a short distance down this road. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at Cimitero (necropoli) El-Khokha.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many shops near Luxor Temple. Once you have your bike, head south along the Corniche road, keeping the Nile on your left. Cycle for about 1 kilometer until you reach the main road that leads to the Valley of the Kings. Turn right onto this road and continue cycling for approximately 2 kilometers. As you ride, enjoy the scenery and look out for shops along the way. After about 10-15 minutes of cycling, you will see a sign for El-Khokha on your left. Park your bike and walk down the road to reach Cimitero (necropoli) El-Khokha.

    Find a horse-drawn carriage near Luxor Temple. Negotiate a price with the driver to take you to El-Khokha. The driver will take you through the streets of Luxor, heading towards the main road leading to the Valley of the Kings. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes. As you approach the area, ask the driver to drop you off at the sign for El-Khokha. From there, it’s just a short walk to Cimitero (necropoli) El-Khokha.
