If arriving from elsewhere in Luxor, taxis are readily available. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey. A short taxi ride from Luxor Temple to Karnak Temple (where the First Pylon is located) should cost approximately 30-50 EGP. From there, enter the Karnak Temple complex and walk to the First Pylon.

Microbuses run between Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple. The fare is around 0.50 EGP. Get off near Karnak Temple and walk to the entrance and then to the First Pylon.
