Walking
Start at the Haapsalu Railway Station. Exit the station and head north towards the center of town. Continue along Karja Street until you reach the intersection with Tallinna Street. Turn left onto Tallinna Street and walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the main intersection at Rüütli Street. Turn right onto Rüütli Street and walk for approximately 500 meters until you see the Haapsalu Castle on your left. Keep walking past the castle, following the coastline. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach a fork in the path. Take the left path, which leads towards Kiltsi tee. Continue walking for another 800 meters, and you will see Ungru lossi varemed on your right side.

Bicycle
Begin your journey at the Haapsalu Town Center. Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Head towards Rüütli Street and follow it towards the castle area. Once you reach the castle, continue along the coastal bike path. This path will lead you to Kiltsi tee after about 3 kilometers. Ungru lossi varemed is located along Kiltsi tee; keep an eye out for the ruins on your right as you approach.
