Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Tallinn Old Town, head northwest on Pikk Street towards Viru Street. Continue straight onto Laikmaa Street, which becomes Narva Road (E263). Follow the road until you reach the intersection with Merivälja tee. Turn right onto Merivälja tee and continue straight for about 7 km. The Pirita Convent Ruins will be on your left at Merivälja tee 18. There is a parking area near the site, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

    From Tallinn Old Town, walk to the bus stop 'Vabaduse väljak' (Freedom Square). Take bus number 34A towards 'Pirita'. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Pirita' stop, which is close to the convent. From there, it’s a short walk to the ruins. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as frequency may vary.
