    If you are driving, start from the center of Tallinn and head northeast on Narva maantee (Route E263). Continue for about 6 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Pirita tee. Turn left onto Pirita tee and follow the road as it winds towards the sea. After approximately 4 kilometers, you will reach Pirita Beach. There are several parking options available near the beach, which may incur a small fee.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    To reach Pirita Beach via public transportation, catch bus number 34A from the Tallinn city center (the bus departs from the 'Tallinna Raekoja Plats' stop). The journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Get off at the 'Pirita' stop. From there, it’s a short walk (about 10 minutes) down Pirita tee towards the beach. Be aware that tickets can be purchased from the driver or via the Tallinna transport app, and the price is around €2 for a single journey.

  • Public Transportation - Tram and Bus

    Another public transport option is to take tram line 1 or 2 from the Tallinn city center to the 'Kadriorg' stop. From Kadriorg, transfer to bus number 34A, which will take you to the 'Pirita' stop. The total travel time is roughly 30-40 minutes. Make sure to purchase your ticket beforehand, which costs around €2.
