Walking
From the main building of Tartu University, exit through the main entrance and head south towards Tartu's town center. Continue along the street until you reach the intersection with Lai Street. Turn left onto Lai Street and walk straight for approximately 800 meters. The Botanical Garden will be on your left at Lai 38, Tartu. It is a pleasant walk that should take around 10-15 minutes.

Board the bus heading towards 'Tammelinna' and get off at the 'Botaanikaaed' stop. The Botanical Garden is just a short walk from the bus stop, only about 100 meters away.
