From the main building of Tartu University, head southeast towards Ülikooli Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Vabaduse puiestik (Vabaduse Avenue). Turn left onto Vabaduse puiestik. Continue walking for about 700 meters, and you will see the park on your left. This walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

From the Tartu University main building, walk to the nearest bus stop at Ülikooli and catch bus number 6 or 7 towards Tammelinna. It takes about 5 minutes to reach the Vabaduse puiestik stop.
