If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Tartu. Head east on Ülikooli street toward the intersection with Rüütli street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Narva road (E263). Turn left onto Narva road and drive for approximately 700 meters. You will see the Monument of Barclay de Tolly on your right at Ülikooli 1, Tartu. There are usually parking spaces available nearby, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from the main bus station in Tartu. Look for bus numbers that head towards the city center or Ülikooli street. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Tartu Ülikool,' which is near the university. From there, walk about 300 meters along Ülikooli street heading towards the east. The Monument of Barclay de Tolly will be on your left at Ülikooli 1. Ensure to check the local bus schedules for accurate times and routes.
