Begin your journey at the Viljandi Town Hall located at Raekoja Plats 1. Head east on Raekoja Plats toward Tallinna Street. Continue straight onto Tallinna Street for approximately 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Tartu Street. Turn left onto Tartu Street and walk for about 300 meters, until you see a sign for Viljandi Castle on your right. Follow the path leading up the hill to Viljandi Castle Hill.
