Walking
If you are in the center of Viljandi, start at the Viljandi Town Hall, located at Tallinna 23. From the Town Hall, head southeast on Tallinna street towards the Viljandi Castle ruins. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pikk street. Turn left onto Pikk street and walk until you reach the end of the street. Then, turn right onto Vabaduse street. After a short walk, you will see Vabaduse plats on your left. The square is between Vabaduse street and Olevi street.

If you are near the Viljandi Cultural Center located at Kooli 5, exit the center and turn left onto Kooli street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Uuelinna street. Turn right onto Uuelinna and continue walking. At the next intersection, turn left onto Olevi street. Vabaduse plats will be ahead on your right after a short walk.
