Start from the Viljandi Town Hall located at Lossi 18, Viljandi. Head south on Lossi Street towards the main square. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Tallinna Street. Turn left onto Tallinna Street, and follow it as it curves to the right. You will reach the Viljandi Castle ruins, which are about a 10-minute walk from the Town Hall. Continue past the castle and follow the path down towards the lake. The Viljandi Suspension Bridge is situated just a short walk from the lake area, clearly visible as you approach.

If you're renting a bicycle, start at the Viljandi Tourist Information Centre located at Pikk Street 8. Head towards the main square and take Tallinna Street. Cycle along Tallinna Street, keeping the Viljandi Castle on your left. Continue cycling towards the lake, taking in the views. The Viljandi Suspension Bridge will be visible from the lakeside paths. It should take about 10-15 minutes of cycling to reach the bridge from the Tourist Information Centre.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Viljandi Bus Station, located at Munga 1, take any local bus heading towards the city center. Get off at the stop near the Viljandi Castle. After disembarking, walk towards the castle ruins and follow the path leading down to the lake. The Viljandi Suspension Bridge is a short walk from the lakefront. The entire journey from the bus station should take around 20-25 minutes, including the walking distance.
