Walking
If you are starting from the Viljandi Town Hall (Viljandi Raekoda), head south on Lossi Street (Lossi tänav). Continue walking straight for about 200 meters until you reach the intersection with Pikk Street (Pikk tänav). Turn left onto Pikk Street and walk for another 300 meters. You will see Raekoja plats on your right, a spacious town square surrounded by historical buildings.

From the Viljandi Museum, exit the museum and proceed east on Tartu Street (Tartu tänav) for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Pikk Street. Turn right onto Pikk Street and walk for approximately 200 meters. Raekoja plats will be on your left, easily recognizable by its open space and the vibrant atmosphere.

If you are at the Viljandi Train Station, start by heading northeast on Karja Street (Karja tänav) for about 450 meters until you reach the intersection with Lossi Street. Turn right onto Lossi Street and continue walking straight for about 300 meters. At the fork, veer left onto Pikk Street, and after about 100 meters, you will find Raekoja plats on your right.

From the Viljandi Castle ruins, exit the castle grounds and head west down the hill on Castle Hill (Lossi mägi). When you reach the bottom, turn left onto Lossi Street and walk straight for about 400 meters. At the intersection with Pikk Street, turn right and walk another 200 meters. Raekoja plats will be on your left, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
