    Getting There

    Walking

    Starting from the Viljandi Town Hall (Raekoda), head south on Tallinna Street towards the Viljandi Old Town. After approximately 300 meters, turn left onto Koidula Street. Continue straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Tartu Street. Cross Tartu Street and follow the path leading into the Castle Park area. The Viljandi Castle Ruins will be on your right, just a few minutes' walk from the park entrance.

    Walking

    If you are near the Viljandi Lake, start at the Viljandi Lake Promenade. Walk north along the promenade until you reach the end of the lake. From there, head towards the main road, Pärnu Street, and turn left. Continue straight for about 600 meters. You will see signs pointing towards the Castle Ruins. Follow the signs to the right, and you will arrive at the Viljandi Castle Ruins in about 10 minutes.

    Public Transport

    If you are near the Viljandi bus station, take a local bus service that routes towards the city center. Get off at the stop near the Viljandi Old Town. From there, follow the walking directions provided from the Town Hall. It should take about 15 minutes to reach the Viljandi Castle Ruins.
