From the center of Big Bend, head east on the main road towards the Mlawula Nature Reserve. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction where the road splits. Take the left fork at the junction, which leads you towards the reserve. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you see the entrance to Mlawula Nature Reserve on your right. The entrance is marked with a sign, and you will likely see a small kiosk where you can pay the entrance fee.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Big Bend and ride along the main road heading east. After about 3 kilometers, keep an eye out for a junction where the road splits. Take the left fork and continue for another 5 kilometers. You should see the entrance to Mlawula Nature Reserve on your right. Be cautious of traffic and ensure you are wearing a helmet for safety.
