Walking
Start at the Mhlume Shopping Centre. Head southeast on the main road (MR3) towards Simunye. Continue walking on MR3 for about 8 kilometers, which should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Keep an eye out for local traffic and be cautious as you walk along the road. Once you reach the Hlane Royal National Park entrance, you will see signs directing you to the park facilities. The entrance is well-marked at the MR3 road.

Bicycle
If you are comfortable cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Mhlume. Begin your journey at the Mhlume Shopping Centre and cycle southeast along MR3. The distance to Hlane Royal National Park is about 8 kilometers. This should take roughly 30 to 40 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay alert for vehicles on the road. Upon reaching the park entrance, you can lock your bike and proceed into the park.

Public Transport
Check for local minibus taxis at the Mhlume Taxi Rank. Look for minibuses heading towards Simunye or specifically to Hlane Royal National Park. The fare should be reasonable, and the journey will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Inform the driver where you want to stop, and he will drop you off at the entrance to the park. From there, you can walk into the park.
