Start from the center of Mekele, near the main market (Mercato). Head west along Haileselassie Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Adigrat Road. Turn right onto Adigrat Road and proceed for another 1 kilometer until you see the sign for Megab. Continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will see ውሽጢ ጉንዶ on your left, marked by its distinct entrance.

From any point in Mekele, make your way to the main bus station in the city center. Look for a minibus heading to Megab. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to go to ውሽጢ ጉንዶ. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to ውሽጢ ጉንዶ, and from there, it's a short walk of about 10 minutes to the attraction.
