Head south on the main road (also known as the Addis Ababa - Hawassa Road) for approximately 25 kilometers. Look for signs directing you towards Loka Abaya National Park. As you approach the park, you will see signs indicating the entrance. Turn right onto the access road leading to the park. The Safari Resort and Camping Site is located within the park, and you can follow the signs to reach your destination.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a minibus (known locally as a 'bajaj' or 'taxi') from Hawassa to the town nearest to Loka Abaya National Park. The fare is usually around 30-50 Ethiopian Birr. Once you arrive at the nearest town, you can hire a local taxi or find a motorcycle taxi to take you the remaining distance to the park entrance. This ride should cost around 50-100 Ethiopian Birr. Once you reach the entrance, follow the signs to the Safari Resort and Camping Site.

If you happen to be near the entrance of Loka Abaya National Park, you can walk to the Safari Resort and Camping Site. The walking distance from the entrance to the resort is approximately 3 kilometers. It's advisable to carry water and wear comfortable shoes as the path may be uneven.
