Walking
If you are starting from the center of Awasa, head towards the lakeside area. Begin your journey at the main bus station (Hawassa Bus Station). From there, walk south along the main road (Bole Road) for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Lake Hawassa. Turn right at this junction, and continue walking along the lakeside pathway. You will pass several cafes and local shops on your way. After approximately 500 meters of walking along the lake, you will see the United Africa Group Hotel on your left, right by the water's edge. The hotel is a well-known landmark in this area.

To reach the United Africa Group Hotel by bicycle, start at the main bus station (Hawassa Bus Station). Head south on Bole Road, cycling for about 1 kilometer. At the junction with Lake Hawassa, take a right turn. Continue cycling along the lakeside pathway for another 500 meters. The United Africa Group Hotel will appear on your left, located directly by the lake, making it a scenic ride.

For public transport, find a local minibus that is heading towards the lakeside area. Board the minibus at the main bus station (Hawassa Bus Station). Inform the driver that you want to get off at Lake Hawassa. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you alight, look for signs directing you to the lakeside path. Walk along the path for about 10 minutes, and you will reach the United Africa Group Hotel, which will be on your left.
