Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Argir, head southeast on the main road (Áarvegur) towards Tórshavn. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Tórshavn as you approach the town. Once you reach the roundabout at the entrance of Tórshavn, take the first exit onto Kambsdalur. Continue straight until you reach another roundabout, then take the second exit onto Vøllur. Follow Vøllur until you reach the docks. You will see the iconic Tinganes buildings to your left, located at 8 Undir Kjallara. The whole walk should take you around 20-25 minutes.

    If you prefer to take public transport, head to the nearest bus stop in Argir. Catch bus number 1 that goes towards Tórshavn. The bus will take you directly to the Tórshavn city center. Once you arrive, disembark at the bus stop named 'Lítla Tjóðsangur'. From there, walk towards the docks, and you will see the Tinganes buildings located at 8 Undir Kjallara. This journey should take around 15-20 minutes, plus waiting time for the bus.
