If you are staying in Leirvík, the museum is an easy walk. Head towards Kulibakki street; the museum is located at 6 520 Kulibakki, about a 10-15 minute walk from the village center. There are signs within the village to guide you.

Public Transport
Take bus route 400 or 410 to Leirvík. From Tórshavn, the bus journey takes approximately 1 hour and 34 minutes. From Klaksvík, the bus journey takes only 5 minutes. Once in Leirvík, walk towards Kulibakki street. The museum is located at 6 520 Kulibakki, a short walk from the bus stop. Bus fares are free for locals but a fare scheme for non-locals will be implemented sometime in 2025.

Navigate to Leirvík on Eysturoy Island. From the main road, take the exit towards Leirvík, then follow signs for Kulibakki. The museum is located at 6 520 Kulibakki, Leirvík 520, Faroe Islands. On-street parking is available nearby. Note that the Norðoyatunnilin connects Klaksvík to Leirvík and has a toll. The Eysturoyartunnilin connects Tórshavn to Runavík and has a toll. Tolls vary.
