From Húsavík, head south on Route 1 (also known as the Ring Road). Follow the road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Miðvágur. Upon entering Miðvágur, look for signs pointing towards Tróndargøta, where Slave Cliff (Lake Above the Ocean) is located. Drive along Tróndargøta until you reach the designated parking area near the hiking trail entrance. Note that parking may incur a small fee, so keep some cash handy.

From Húsavík, take a bus to Miðvágur. Make sure to check the local bus schedules as they can vary. Upon arrival in Miðvágur, you can either walk or take a taxi to Tróndargøta. The walk from the bus station to the hiking trail is about 2 kilometers and will take approximately 30 minutes. Taxis can be arranged through local services, and costs may vary depending on the distance.
