    Getting There

    Walking

    From the parking area near Miðvágur, follow the well-marked trail towards Trælanípa and Bøsdalafossur. The hike is approximately 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) and mostly flat. The path leads along the scenic Lake Leitisvatn. Upon arrival at the trailhead, a fee of 200 DKK is required for adults. Children 15 and under are free.

    Public Transport

    From Vágar Airport, take Bus 300 towards Tórshavn. The bus departs every 4 hours and the journey to Sandavágur takes about 10 minutes. From the Sandavágur bus stop, you can walk to the trailhead. Alternatively, take a taxi from Sandavágur to Miðvágur, which is closer to the trailhead. Bus fare from the airport to Sandavágur is approximately 20 DKK. A 5km taxi ride in Sandavágur will cost about 75 DKK.
