Walking
From the main square, Vaglið, walk east towards the harbor. Continue along the waterfront, passing the marina on your left. Yviri við Strond will be on your right, a short 5-minute walk.
Public Transport
Take any of the red city buses (Bussleiðin) to Steinatún square, a central transportation hub. From there, walk towards the harbor and continue along the waterfront to reach Yviri við Strond. The buses are no longer free and require a ticket. A 24-hour travel ticket costs 100 DKK.
Driving
From the city center, follow the signs towards the harbor. Parking is available in the area, but be aware of time restrictions. Parking is free, but a parking disc is required to indicate your arrival time. Time limits are enforced Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. Several parking lots with 8-hour parking are within a 4-minute walk.
