Walking
Start your journey at the center of Strendur, near the local grocery store, Spar. From there, head west along the main road (Vøttin). After about 500 meters, you will reach a junction. Continue straight, following the signs towards Runavík. The road will curve slightly to the right, and you will see the water on your left. Keep walking for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Runavík. You will notice the Eysturoyar røktar- og ellisheim building on your right at 1 Friðartún, which is approximately 2 kilometers from Strendur.

If you prefer public transport, start at the bus stop near the grocery store, Spar, in Strendur. Take the bus heading towards Runavík. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Runavík' bus stop, which is close to the center of town. From there, it’s a short walk to Eysturoyar røktar- og ellisheim. Head east along the main road (Friðartún) for about 400 meters, and you will find the destination on your left at 1 Friðartún.
