The most common way to reach Múlafossur is by car. From Vágar Airport, it's a short 15-20 minute drive via Route 45. Follow the signs to Gásadalur through the Gásadalstunnilin tunnel. Once in the village, park in the designated parking area and walk the short distance to the waterfall viewpoint. Parking is free. Be mindful of speed limits and driving conditions, especially in tunnels and during inclement weather.

To reach Múlafossur via public transport from Tórshavn, take bus route 300 to Sørvágur. From Sørvágur, transfer to bus 350, which will take you directly to Gásadalur. The journey from Tórshavn to Gásadalur takes approximately 1 hour and 1 minute. A multi-day travel card can be purchased for unlimited travel on buses and ferries (excluding Mykines), costing 500 DKK for 4 days or 700 DKK for 7 days. Single bus fares are approximately 30 DKK.
