Discover more about Naigani Island Resort

Naigani Island Resort, nestled in the Lomaiviti archipelago off the main island of Viti Levu, is a hidden gem offering a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural immersion. This 3-star resort provides a secluded escape with its turquoise lagoons, palm-fringed beaches, and lush tropical gardens. With a maximum capacity of 60 guests, the resort maintains a cozy and intimate atmosphere, ideal for those seeking relaxation and a traditional Fijian experience. The island's history stretches back almost 3,000 years to the Lapita people, ancestors of Polynesian and Micronesian races, who first settled here. Evidence of this ancient civilization was uncovered during the resort's construction, with pottery sherds dating back to 800 BCE. In more recent history, Naigani has been frequented by sailors, warriors, whalers, and sandalwood traders. The island's village credits its establishment to Lutunasobasoba's group, who were stranded near Canabuli Bay. Today, Naigani Island Resort offers a variety of activities to suit every interest. Divers will be thrilled with the world-class dive sites just minutes from the beach, teeming with vibrant coral and diverse marine life. Snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing, and fishing are also popular options. A unique feature is the "barefoot" par-27 golf course with three greens. Excursions to nearby islands and historical sites like Levuka Town on Ovalau Island, the old capital of Fiji, provide further opportunities for exploration.
