Ferry
The primary way to reach Örö is by ferry from Kasnäs. Kasnäs is located on Kemiönsaari Island. Several bus lines connect to Kasnäs from major cities like Turku and Helsinki during the summer. From the Kasnäs harbor, Wilson Charter operates daily ferry services to Örö. The ferry ride takes approximately one hour. It's highly recommended to book tickets in advance via their online shop, especially during peak season. A round trip ticket costs approximately €32 for adults and €16 for children (ages 3-12). Bicycles can be transported for an additional fee of €6 per direction.
Taxi Boat
For a more flexible and private option, consider a taxi boat from Kasnäs to Örö. Contact local boat operators in Kasnäs to arrange transport. While convenient, this option is significantly more expensive than the ferry. Expect to pay around €150 or more for a one-way trip, depending on the boat size and operator.
