From the Matinkylä metro station, exit towards the shopping center, and head straight to the main road, Länsiväylä. Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing. Continue walking along Westendintie for about 1.5 kilometers. Toppelundin linnoitus will be on your left side at Westendintie 40. Look for the historical landmark sign to guide you.

From Matinkylä, head to the nearest bus stop, Matinkylä (Matinkyläntie). Take bus number 145 towards Haukilahti. Ride for 5 stops and get off at the stop 'Haukilahti'. From there, walk approximately 800 meters along Haukilahti road and then turn left onto Westendintie. Toppelundin linnoitus will be on the right side at Westendintie 40. Note that bus tickets cost around €3.20.

If you're renting a bike, you can cycle from Matinkylä to Toppelundin linnoitus. Start at the Matinkylä shopping center and cycle along the bike path on Länsiväylä heading west. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto Westendintie. The destination will be on your left at Westendintie 40. Ensure you have a helmet and follow local traffic rules.
