From Hossa National Park, head southwest on Route 5 (E63) towards Suomussalmi. Continue on Route 5 for about 90 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 6 in the town of Kuhmo. Merge onto Route 6 and follow it for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 89. Turn left onto Route 89 and drive for about 50 kilometers. At the intersection with Route 23, turn right and follow Route 23 for approximately 30 kilometers.
