The sculpture park, which opened in 2019, spans almost one hectare and features dozens of sculptures inspired by mythology, fantasy culture, and the Koli landscape. Martikainen's creations incorporate various materials, including metals, stone, fiberglass, and recycled items like old greenhouse heating pipes, giving them a new lease on life. The park is divided into sections based on the colors of plants, creating a visually appealing and harmonious environment. The park is designed to be accessible and family-friendly, making it an ideal destination for all ages. Various events and exhibitions are held, showcasing local artists and their works. Koli Garden has been cultivated by the Martikainen family since the 18th century. In 1971, the family established a small company, and in the early 1970s, Ilmari Martikainen, Lasse's father, started greenhouse cultivation at the current location.
