Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Ylä-kolintie 33, 83960 Lieksa, which is the address of Koli Railcar. From the main entrance of Koli National Park, drive north on Koli Road (Koli tie) for about 5 kilometers. You will pass through scenic forested areas and may see signs for the Koli National Park. Continue straight until you reach a junction, and take a right onto Ylä-kolintie. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers, and you will see the Koli Railcar on your right. There is parking available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, take a bus from Lieksa to Koli National Park. Buses run several times a day, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to check the local bus schedules in advance. Once you arrive at the Koli National Park bus stop, it is approximately a 20-minute walk to Koli Railcar. Head north on Koli Road, then turn right onto Ylä-kolintie and follow the road until you reach your destination. If you have heavy luggage, consider arranging a taxi from the bus stop to Koli Railcar.

  For a more direct route, you can call a local taxi service from anywhere in Koli National Park. Taxis can be booked via phone or through a taxi app if available.
