Car
If driving, head towards Lieksa and then take Ylä-kolintie towards Koli. The Koli Railcar is located at Ylä-kolintie 33, 83960 Lieksa, approximately 20 km from the center of Lieksa. Parking is available near the site. Parking is free.

Public Transport
To reach Koli Railcar via public transport, take a bus from Joensuu to Lieksa. From Lieksa, a taxi or local shuttle can take you to Koli Railcar. Alternatively, take a train to Joensuu, Vuonislahti, or Lieksa. From Joensuu, a bus or taxi can reach Koli National Park. A pre-booked shared taxi is available from Lieksa. Bus tickets from Joensuu to Koli can be purchased for approximately EUR 38-45 one-way, with a slightly lower price for children. A taxi from Lieksa to Koli Railcar will cost approximately EUR 40-60.

Once you arrive at the Koli Railcar parking area (P1 or P2), the railcar provides a free ride to the upper yard where the Nature Centre Ukko and Break Sokos Hotel Koli are located. The railcar is wheelchair accessible.
