Take a bus from Lieksa to the Koli Visitor Centre. Check the bus schedule in advance. From the visitor center, you can hike to Paha-Koli, following marked trails for approximately 2 kilometers. The walk from the bus stop to the trailhead may take around 15-20 minutes.

From the Koli Visitor Centre, take Koli Road (Kolin tie) and follow the signs towards Paha-Koli. Continue for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the parking area near Paha-Koli Hill. Parking may incur a small fee.
