Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, begin your journey from the center of Kouvola, which is about 45 km from the Suomensalo Esker Terrain. Head southeast on the E75 road towards Savitaipale. Continue on E75 for approximately 30 km. Take the exit towards Savitaipale and continue on Route 6 for another 10 km. Follow the signs for Savitaipale and then take the Unnamed road that leads to the Suomensalo Esker Terrain. The destination will be on your left. There are no tolls on this route.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Suomensalo Esker Terrain using public transportation, start from Kouvola's central bus station. Take the bus to Savitaipale (check the local bus schedule for exact timings). The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Savitaipale, you will need to take a taxi for the final stretch. The taxi ride from Savitaipale to the Unnamed road, where the Suomensalo Esker Terrain is located, will take about 10-15 minutes and may cost around 15-20 euros.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, biking from Kouvola to Suomensalo Esker Terrain is an option. The distance is approximately 45 km. Start by heading southeast towards the E75 road. You can follow the cycling paths alongside the roads until you reach Savitaipale. From Savitaipale, take the Unnamed road towards the Suomensalo Esker Terrain. Ensure to bring water and snacks, as there are limited stops along the way.

• Walking

  Walking to the Suomensalo Esker Terrain from Kouvola is not practical due to the distance (approximately 45 km). However, if you're already in Savitaipale, it is possible to walk to the Unnamed road. The terrain is scenic, but it will take several hours, so plan accordingly. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry enough supplies.
