A direct bus route to Järvisydän is available from June 1, 2025. Purchase tickets through Matkahuolto's service at least 2 days in advance. The bus operates as a “Matkaketju” (Travel Chain) service, with a transfer at the Hiismäki bus stop to a local taxi. A taxi from Hiismäki to Järvisydän costs approximately €65 (1-4 persons).

Take a train to Savonlinna, Varkaus, Pieksämäki, or Mikkeli, and then transfer to Järvisydän by taxi. Taxi fares vary depending on the origin: Savonlinna (€140, 40 min), Varkaus (€140, 30 min), Pieksämäki (€250, 60 min), and Mikkeli (€320, 90 min) for 1-4 persons.
