Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within North Karelia, head towards Joensuu by following the E75 highway. Once you enter Joensuu, take the exit towards City Center. Continue straight on Kirkkokatu until you reach Papinkatu. Turn left onto Papinkatu, and Joensuu Church will be on your right at Papinkatu 1b. Parking is available near the church, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

• Public Transportation

  If using public transportation, you can take a bus to Joensuu. Check the local bus schedules for routes that head to the Joensuu city center. Once you arrive at the Joensuu bus station, it's about a 10-minute walk to Joensuu Church. From the bus station, head south on Torikatu, then turn left onto Kirkkokatu. From the main market square (tori), head south along Torikatu, then take a left onto Kirkkokatu. Continue straight until you reach Papinkatu, then turn right. Joensuu Church is located at Papinkatu 1b. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your starting point.
