Getting There

Car
From Urho Kekkonen National Park, start by heading south on Route 5 (E75) towards Rovaniemi. Continue to follow the signs for E75 until you reach the junction for Route 4 (E75). Take Route 4 towards Helsinki. After approximately 800 km, take the exit towards Espoo/Nuuksio National Park. Follow the signs for Nuuksiontie, and continue on Nuuksiontie for about 10 km until you reach the park entrance at Nuuksiontie 84, 02820 Espoo. Note that there is a parking fee of around €5 per day.

Public Transportation
From Urho Kekkonen National Park, take a bus to Rovaniemi city center. From Rovaniemi, catch a train to Helsinki (approximately 8-10 hours). Once in Helsinki, make your way to the Kamppi bus terminal. From Kamppi, take bus number 185 to Nuuksio National Park. The bus ride takes about 45 minutes. Get off at the Nuuksiontie stop, which is close to the park entrance (Nuuksiontie 84, 02820 Espoo). Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they can vary. A one-way ticket from Helsinki to Nuuksio costs around €4-€5.
