Public Bus
From Oulu city center, head to the Oulu bus station (Oulun linja-autoasema). Catch bus number 57 towards 'Kierikki'. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. You will need to get off at the 'Kierikkikeskus' stop. Once you disembark, the Kierikki Stone Age Centre is just a short walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from various rental shops in Oulu. Start from the city center and head northeast towards the Kivikkokangas area. Follow signs for the bike routes leading to Pahkalantie. The route is approximately 15 km and takes about 50 minutes. The Kierikki Stone Age Centre is located at Pahkalantie 447A, which you can access directly from the cycle path.
Walking
Walking from the city center to the Kierikki Stone Age Centre is not recommended due to the distance (about 16 km). However, if you wish to walk partway, you can take a bus to the 'Kierikkikeskus' stop and then walk the remaining distance. If you choose to walk all the way, follow Pakkahuoneenkatu to Oulu's outskirts, then follow the signs to Pahkalantie.
