Cross the bridge over the Tammerkoski rapids and turn right onto Itäinenkatu. Väinö Linna Square will be on your left, approximately a 15-minute walk.

From Keskustori (Central Square), take bus lines 2, 5, 7, 7Y, 8, 9, 10, 19, 33, 35, 40, 40A, 40B, 40C, 50, 52A, 52B, 70, 70A, 70B, 70Y, 80A, 80B, 80C, 80Y, 90, 90A, 90B, 90C, 90D, or 90E and get off at the Finlayson stop on Satakunnankatu. The square is a short walk from the bus stop. A single ticket costs approximately €3.02.

From Tampere-Pirkkala Airport, a taxi to Väinö Linna Square typically costs between €27 and €32 and takes about 15 minutes. Taxis are readily available outside the airport terminal.
