Car
From Tampere, take the E12 highway north towards Ruovesi. After approximately 60 km, take exit 35 for Ruovesi. Follow the signs for Ruovesi and continue onto Route 23. After about 15 km, turn left onto Helvetinjärventie road, which will lead you directly to the entrance of Helvetinjärvi National Park. There is free parking available at the park entrance.

Take a train from Tampere to Ruovesi, which is about a 1-hour journey. Upon arrival at Ruovesi train station, you can catch bus number 202 towards Pori, which stops at Helvetinjärvi National Park.
