From Ruka, head south on Route 5 (E63) towards Kuusamo. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit toward Kylmäluoma/Tyrövaara. Continue on Pajuluomantie for about 7 kilometers, and you will arrive at the Kylmäluoma Hiking Area. There is ample parking available near the entrance.

Take a bus from Ruka to Kuusamo. The bus service is operated by Kainuun Liikenne, and the timetable can be checked online. Once you reach Kuusamo, transfer to a local bus heading towards Tyrövaara. Get off at the stop closest to Pajuluomantie. From there, it's a short walk (approximately 1-2 kilometers) to the Kylmäluoma Hiking Area.
