Starting from the Savonlinna city center, head northeast towards the Olavinlinna Castle. Walk along the lakeside promenade, enjoying the scenic views of Lake Saimaa. Continue along the lakeside until you reach the bridge that crosses over to the other side of the lake. Cross the bridge and follow the road that curves to the left. Continue walking straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Suur-Savontie. Turn left onto Suur-Savontie and follow the signs for 'Suomen pisin puu.' After about 1.5 kilometers, you'll see a small path leading into a forest area where the tallest tree is located. Follow this path to reach the tallest tree in Finland.
